FREDERIC CHOPIN’S WARSAW – the tour focuses on places connected with the life and work of the Poland’s most famous composer. Chopin spent more than half of his life in Warsaw and you can still visit many of the places from his times. It is possible to extend the tour with the visit to the Frederic Chopin Museum and/or a Chopin’s music recital.
COMMUNIST WARSAW – this tour takes you to places from the communist era including the most characteristic of them – the Palace of Culture and Science. The “Stalin Tower” offers a lift ride up to its viewing terrace on from which you can admire Warsaw’s panorama. In addition we will visit also residential districts from 1950s with basreliefs glorifying the working class.
PILGRIM’S WARSAW – a tour with a focus on the most important Warsaw churches including St. John’s Cathedral, St. Anne’s church, Holy Cross Church, and other places of Christian cult like the shrine of father Jerzy Popiełuszko, the priest of Solidarność, murdered by the communist secret services.
SCIENTIFIC WARSAW – a special itinerary concentrating on the most significant Warsaw’s scientific institutions, universities, academies, libraries. Possibility to visit Warsaw University Library with its famous rooftop gardens and/or a visit in the Science Centre KOPERNIK (Copernicus) (for groups booking in advance necessary).
